Honest Current Review

Editorial policy

Honest Current Review aims to make energy ideas understandable without making them sound more certain, universal or actionable than they are. Our editorial choices favour clear definitions, fair comparisons and careful limits.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and prefer explanations that can be followed without specialist jargon. Comparisons should make their basis clear; an analogy should help with one part of an idea without being treated as a complete model. We avoid unsupported figures and distinguish general concepts from claims that depend on a particular place or situation.

Independence and boundaries

Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding, not to promise a particular result or promote a product. Honest Current Review does not provide professional engineering, electrical, legal or financial advice. Content is educational, not a substitute for a qualified professional or applicable local requirements, and it does not provide instructions for hazardous work.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or an unclear explanation, they can contact us with the relevant page and detail. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the text and make the correction clear to readers. A correction is not a reason to quietly preserve wording that could mislead.

Partner material and illustrations

Any sponsored or partner material is identified clearly so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial control. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that is the case, the image is labelled accordingly, and illustrations are not offered as documentary evidence.
